The HP OmniBook 3 series has officially come out in India. This is a planned rebranding of HP’s consumer laptops under the OmniBook name. The OmniBook 3 and OmniBook 5 are two new laptops that came out on July 7, 2025. They are meant to be powerful and come with built-in AI features. The starting price is ₹69,999.

HP is bringing all of its consumer laptop lines, like Pavilion, Envy, and Spectre, together under the OmniBook brand as part of this rebranding effort. The name “OmniBook” is a revival; it was used for HP’s business laptops from 1993 to 2002. This relaunch puts a lot of emphasis on AI integration, which is in line with the industry’s move toward next-generation AI PCs.

The OmniBook 3 is the cheapest model in the new line, which also includes the OmniBook 5, 7, X, and Ultra. It only uses AMD Ryzen AI processors. These processors have special Neural Processing Units (NPUs) that can do 45 to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS). These powerful NPUs make a lot of on-device AI tasks possible, which greatly improves performance for demanding tasks like video editing, seamless multitasking, and secure file analysis, all while keeping the device’s energy use low.

The OmniBook 3 series has both 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full HD (1980 x 1080) IPS panels for display. These screens have a coating that keeps glare away and are 300 nits bright. The bigger 15.6-inch model also has a separate number pad to help you get more done. Integrated AMD Radeon 860M or 840M graphics improve performance even more. These graphics cards support AI-powered features like Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC experiences.

The OmniBook 3 has a lot of memory and storage options. For example, it can have up to 32GB of DDR5 or LPDDR5x RAM and PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSDs with up to 1TB of space. The laptops have a 41Wh battery that can be charged with 45W, HP Sleep and Charge, USB-C Power Delivery, and DisplayPort 1.4. There are a lot of ways to connect, including a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, HDMI 1.4b, a headphone jack, an AC input, and Wi-Fi 7. The laptops have an HP True Vision HD camera with two microphones and advanced noise cancellation for video calls and other forms of communication.

HP also put a lot of thought into making the OmniBook 3 environmentally friendly. The laptops are made with recycled metals and plastics and have received EPEAT Gold certification, as well as Climate+ and ENERGY STAR recognition, showing that the company cares about the environment.

Windows 11 or Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on the OmniBook 3 series. This gives users access to Microsoft’s Copilot+ AI chatbot and Windows Studio Effects. The AMD Ryzen AI processor’s NPU powers the AI features, which let the device do AI processing. This makes it less necessary to use cloud services for things like making content and analyzing files, which improves privacy and responsiveness. HP AI Companion and Poly Camera Pro are two more AI-enhanced features that are meant to make the user experience even better.

The OmniBook 3 has a sleek Glacier Silver design and a strong chassis that has been put through rigorous testing to meet US military standards for drops, humidity, and extreme temperatures. This makes it strong and reliable. It doesn’t say exactly how much it weighs, but it does say that its portability is a big plus.
The OmniBook 3 is a good choice for an AI-powered laptop because it starts at ₹69,999 in India. You can easily buy it from HP or some stores, like Best Buy. The article ends by saying that the OmniBook 3 is a strong contender in the entry-level laptop market because it has a good balance of price, performance, and AI features, even though its battery is only 41Wh, which is smaller than some other models.
